HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
We rang in the New Year last night with a family pajama party. After eating dinner at our local American diner -- Cindy's -- we headed home to eat banana splits and popcorn while watching "Dumbo". All of us were tuckered out by about 8:00pm. I crashed before midnight -- but was quickly awoken by all the fireworks and churchbells ringing around our neighborhood. Normally, the Swiss are extremely protective of the peace -- but apparently not when ringing in the New Year.
This morning, Rob made us a delicious pancake breakfast, complete with Mickey Mouse pancakes for the girls. I didn't know he was so talented at tossing flapjacks. Then he took the girls outside to build a snowman in the fresh snow.
